This two-day workshop is open to watercolor painters of all levels and is intended to dramatically increase your confidence in working with watercolors. Learn to paint bold and colorful watercolors while simplifying complex subject material so that you may capture the essence of what you are seeing. Paint along with Curtis as you learn to work loosely with confidence. Turn potential problems into opportunities and learn to "fix" what you may feel needs fixing. Learn to finish with stronger paintings as you work with the medium rather than against it.

Plein Air Painting with Acrylics

Ever stare at a scene you would love to paint but you have no idea where to start! This workshop is open to painters of all levels, and is intended for acrylic  painters. It is designed to teach you how to look at a complex scene and break it down into it's simplest components so that you can capture and express what really excites you about a scene you are looking at. You will gain confidence in breaking down a complex scene so that you may paint quickly with a process that eliminates uncertainty and "what do I do now" type questions.
